Pure Being Cat Advent Calendars recall issued voluntarily by Aldi posted by FDA January 04, 2022

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) posted a recall alert on January 04, 2022, after Aldi and Pet Brands Products, LLC voluntarily recalled its Pure Being Cat Advent Calendars.

The recall was a cautionary measure and related to a small number of customer complaints relating to the treats inside the calendars. There were no reports of any illness or adverse reactions.

Aldi Pure Being Cat Advent Calendar, 5.15 oz. boxes, UPC #4099100267754 or 4099100267747

Why was it recalled?

A small number of customers complained that the treats inside the calendars were as hard as “cement blocks”. 

Where was the product sold?

The impacted products were sold in Aldi stores nationwide during the 2021 holiday season. No other Aldi products were impacted by this recall.
