Almo Nature HQS Natural cat food receives the Cat Food Advisor rating, 5 stars

This range of food is made from ingredients which were originally fit for human consumption.  The first ingredient in each recipe is good quality animal meat and the protein levels are exceptional.  Fat and carbohydrate content is low, whilst moisture is high.

The first ingredient is chicken.  Chicken is considered “the clean combination of flesh and skin derived from the parts or whole carcasses of chicken”. 1

Chicken is naturally rich in the 11 essential amino acids required by a cat to sustain life.

The second ingredient is water. which adds nothing but moisture to this food. Water is a routine finding in most wet cat foods.

The third ingredient is pumpkin.  Pumpkin is a nutritious addition high in complex carbohydrates, beta-carotene and dietary fiber.
